An elderly woman is lucky to be alive after she was hit by a car in Barrie.
Police say the woman was hit near Little and Carol Streets early this morning.
When officers arrived on scene, the woman was unconscious, but after a few minutes was somewhat alert and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are still investigating.
