Winter is not a time of rest for Grey Bruce Farmers.
In fact Grey County Agricultural Services official Ray Robertson says its a very busy time planning for the spring planting and upgrading and improving their farming and management skills.
To that end, he says they are offering a special workshop February 20th and 27th called Growing your Farm Profits.
Robertson says this is a brand new program that is being launched right across the Province and it is designed to help farmers
He says when people finish this workshop they will have developed a very comprehensive financial management play for their farm.
Robertson says farmers will deal with such issues as marketing, production, financial management, human resources and succession planning.
He says by completing this two day workshop, farmers will be much better prepared to deal with future events and better manage their operation to withstand any economic ups and downs.
