
Caledon OPP arrested and charged three drivers for being impaired over the weekend.
There were two incidents on Friday evening.
Officers were conducting a stop-sign enforcement in the area of Allan Drive and Ellwood Drive in Bolton, when they saw a van disobeying a stop sign.
The driver, a 56 year old man from Caledon, failed a breath test and he’s been charged with impaired driving.
In a separate incident, a 23 year old woman from Caledon was charged for refusing to provide a breath sample after a traffic stop in Bolton.
Sunday afternoon, a complaint was called in by an off duty Peel Regional Police officer about a possible impaired driver near Highway 10 and Olde Base Line Road.
The officer said a vehicle was driving erratically and nearly hit him head on, then mounted the median and drove through a red light, before coming to a stop on Olde Base Line Road.
The 28 year old man from Mississauga has been charged with being impaired, dangerous driving and having an open container of liquor and having cannabis available.
