Huronia West OPP took a couple of suspected drunk drivers off our roads on the weekend.
On Sunday, just before 4 P.M. officers responded to calls about a vehicle swerving all over Highway 26 near Strongville Road in Clearview Township.
Police stopped the vehicle and conducted a breath test on the driver and charged a 42 year old Barrie woman with driving while impaired.
Less than an hour before this arrest, the same officer stopped a vehicle on Russell Road after witnesses reported it being driven erratically and after witnesses say the driver and passenger had switched seats.
Police stopped the vehicle as it entered the city of Barrie and charged both the driver and passenger, a 34 year old Brampton man and a 43 year old Toronto man, after they both failed breath tests.
