Shelburne is going to have some better access to services for adults with developmental disabilities.
Up until now, the Active Lives Day Program has been running in Orangeville for five years, giving certain members of our community the recreation and job skills programs that are needed.
Shelburne will have it’s own program in a second location opening Monday August 10th at 167 Main Street in Shelburne.
Active Lives has been working tirelessly during COVID- 19 to find ways
to provide services.
Part of the expansion is due to the increased need for greater space so they can continue to serve those that need them.
