The Upper Grand District School Board has released a detailed Parent Guide on the reopening of schools.
The board has been working hard to get schools to welcome back students and staff next month.
Schools will also be releasing school plans with additional school specific information just before the start of the school year.
All parents and guardians in the UGDSB are required to pre-register their children — by August 14th — for school this year due to the situation surrounding COVID-19.
Parents will have the choice to keep their child at home if they don’t feel comfortable sending them to school in person in the fall, and in choosing that could opt into remote learning from home.
Students cannot attend school part time and also do distance learning.
