Two Innisfil men had to be rescued when their rubber dinghy drifted due to strong winds in Lake Simcoe.
On Sunday around 1:30 pm, the South Simcoe Police Marine Unit responded after the men ended up on the Keswick side of the lake and were unable to paddle back.
The dinghy washed ashore on Fox Island.
The operator, a man from Innisfil in his early 20s was charged with not having required safety equipment on board.
Police say this was the second marine call in a week involving inclement weather.
They say you should use common sense if planning to head out on the water.
