Financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic are being blamed for the closure of three YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka locations.
It has reportedly been forced to close three of its fitness centres in Barrie, Orillia and Parry Sound.
The organization says it still hopes to eventually reopen fitness centres in Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Gravenhurst, Midland and Innisfil.
Day camps in the Barrie, Orillia and Parry Sound locations will continue to run until the end of the summer.
