Simcoe/Muskoka has its first case of West Nile virus.
The local health unit confirms mosquitoes collected from a trap in Alliston has tested positive for West Nile.
This is the first lab confirmed evidence of West Nile Virus in the region this year.
Health officials remind you to use an approved mosquito repellent and wear light coloured clothing and cover up.
