Buying Ontario-made is more important than ever.
That message from Premier Doug Ford today who announced a $2 million investment with a company that creates machines to clean and sanitize N95 masks and other PPE for front line workers.
The Clean Works Medical and Pure Life Machinery is part of a plan to keep Ontario vigilant and prepared for the future.
“It can sanitize up to 800 N95 masks an hour along with other personal protective equipment,” says the Premier.
The technology uses UV light, hydrogen peroxide and ozone to decontaminate surfaces.
Ford says everyone has a role to play in ensuring Stage 3 keeps being a success.
Today @VictorFedeli, @samoosterhoff and I are at @CleanWorksCorp to announce Ontario Together Funding. This $2M investment will support manufacturing of their Ontario-made portable sanitizing device so they can triple their production capacity. pic.twitter.com/8Ey2FgV90Y
