Police are seeking tips after a woman was attacked while out walking her dog on Maple Ridge Road last night.
Wednesday, shortly after 7 pm, OPP were called after the woman was assaulted.
The victim, who is in her 50s, was walking her dog when she was attacked by an unknown male assailant who dragged her towards a wooded area.
The victim didn’t clearly see her attacker as she lost consciousness, but does remember him having a deep voice.
The woman was treated and released from an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect wasn’t located during a search of the area and the Orillia Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
