A fire ban has ended for Huron County.
The Huron County Fire Chiefs Association issued the fire ban July 8th, after several weeks without significant rainfall.
The ending of the fire ban comes just a day after parts of Huron County received up to 28 millimetres of rainfall, coupled with strong winds and thunderstorms.
Huron County’s fire chiefs are reminding you to contact your local fire department regarding burn permits, to not leave fire unattended, and to not discard cigarette butts from vehicle windows.
