Impaired driving charges have been laid, following a crash in Orillia.
The OPP says shortly after 8p.m. Thursday, officers were called to a two-vehicle collisions on Coldwater Street East, where one vehicle was hit from behind while stopped at a red light.
As as result of the investigation, a 70-year-old Orillia man was arrested
He faces charges of:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs, contrary to Section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus), contrary to Section 320.14(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The accused will appear in court in June.
