A man has been arrested in Gravenhurst, after police say a suspected impaired driver stole a vehicle.
Around 4 o’clock yesterday, police were called about a vehicle that had been taken without the owner’s consent.
Police say the caller also reported concerns that the suspect had been drinking alcohol.
Officers located and stopped the vehicle travelling on Highway 11 North in Huntsville, where a 38-year-old man was taken into custody on charges of operation while impaired, taking a vehicle without consent and failing to comply with probation.
The accused has a court date in August.
