The Town of Shelburne is reopening all parks for limited recreational activities as of Friday May 23rd.
Mayor Wade Mills says having the parks open for some use allows the community to stay active, but he says continued physical distancing of staying 2 metres apart is essential in this process.
Monday May 25th at 9 am, the public washrooms at Greenwood Park will reopen, and Tuesday May 26th there will be portable toilets at Walters Creek Park, Natasha Paterson Park, Fiddle Park, KTH Park, Greenwood Park and Town Hall parking lot.
The Town is stressing that individuals are not permitted to play team sports or gather unless they are all from the same immediate household.
As for now, all playground equipment will remain closed.
