The Barrie Community Foundation has launched its own Emergency Community Support Fund to support those most impacted by COVID-19.
The Government of Canada’s new Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) which came into effect this week aims to provide additional and much-needed assistance to charities and non-profit organizations serving vulnerable populations.
Through the ECSF, the Barrie Community Foundation will be investing an additional $254,000 towards local charities supporting vulnerable populations.
