A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with several thefts in both Orillia and Coldwater.
Last Tuesday, police were notified about unauthorized credit card transactions that were made at an Orillia business and the suspect was caught on surveillance video.
Then two days later, a concerned citizen in Coldwater called police to report a man looking through vehicles.
Officers arrived and located a man matching the description, who was placed into custody
After a brief investigation, police say the suspect was also linked to the previous incident and released with a future court date.
Then, two days later, police say the same man tried to use different stolen credit cards at another Orillia business and was once again taken into custody.
The accused appeared in court yesterday for a bail hearing.
