That’s the new Covid-19 curbside waste order from the District of Muskoka.
Effective immediately all garbage, recycling, and green bin organic material is to be bagged, sealed and placed securely inside bins.
Don’t put any loose materials out for collection.
Also, exercise physical distancing with collection operators.
Otherwise, all curbside bi-weekly garbage limits remain in effect.
Green bin material must be put in compostable bags and of course, continue to sort recycling.
Another change is that the Ridout (Dorset) Transfer Station is temporarily closed, while other transfer stations are currently open during regular hours.
And the Bracebridge Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Facility is temporarily closed.
