The Ontario government is helping to do some major repairs in Shelburne.
Through the Connecting Links program, the Town of Shelburne will receive $491,609 towards the resurfacing of Main Street.
Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones says the investment will keep goods moving and drive economic growth.
Mayor Wade Mills says with the tremendous growth Shelburne is experiencing, investing in infrastructure is a key priority and this support from the province is something they are grateful for.
The 2020-21 Connecting Links program will support 24 municipalities across the province to help them build, repair or replace municipal roads and bridges that connect two ends of a provincial highway through a community or to a border crossing.
