Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says passing a bill to adopt emergency measures today is helping people as soon as possible and that “speed is of the essence.”
At a press conference today, Trudeau said the house is being called back to get it done

Trudeau also addressed flights bringing Canadians home during the pandemic.
One more flight from Morroco is scheduled, as are flights from Tunisia, El Salvador and Spain
He thanked flight attendants, pilots and border agents who are helping bring Canadians home to be together.
This week nearly one million Canadians have returned home to Canada, he said.
Restriction duration will be determined by the choices we make right now, said the PM.
He says if you want things to get back to normal, stay home.
