A new body temperature scanning system has been introduced at an Orillia business–the first to use this innovative technology.
The Divorce Centre on Front Street North has the new scanning system which quickly identifies any staff member or client who has an elevated temperature.
It will help identify people with possible COVID 19 and other flu infections before being allowed to enter the business premises.
The new body scanning system was developed locally by Provix Inc., based just south of Barrie in New Lowell, with offices in Sudbury.
The same innovative technology will be used at Creative Nomad Studios, currently under construction on Mississauga Street West.
The Divorce Centre has also announced that it will be fully operational again as of June 1st.
