Premier Doug Ford has ordered the shut down of all non-essential services to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The order takes effect 11:59 pm Tuesday.
It’s expected that services such as supermarkets, pharmacies, LCBO’s, takeout restaurants will be allowed to remain open.
Essential manufacturing and supply chain providers will be allowed to remain open and active.
The measure will be in place for at last 14 days.
The move comes after Ford consulted with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Sunday night.
Details are to be finalized Tuesday, when a list of non-essential services/workplaces will be released by the Province.
