Personal Protective Equipment is still needed at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston.
March 26th the hospital launched a PPE drive and individuals, businesses and organizations have answered the call, and more equipment is still needed.
Some of the urgently required items include:
Procedure Masks: Ear-loop ASTMF2100-11, Level 2 rating or higher, GN95
Masks: N95 3M9105, 3M1870+, 3M8110S, 3M8210, NIOSH and CE
Gowns: AAMI, Level 2 rating or greater – must wrap all the way around
Hand sanitizer: 70% or higher alcohol, must be a pump bottle ONLY

All products will be validated to ensure they meet the hospital’s needs.
Hand sewn scrub caps and cloth masks are being accepted for staff and if you want to help with that you can contact SMH Auxiliary President Gary Munro at gmunro@bell.net.
In addition to donations, if anyone knows of a manufacturer that has retooled to support PPE efforts, they can share the information with the hospital so they can look into their supplies.
