Hanover Police have arrested a man after a foot pursuit.
They say on Sunday, November 1st, just after 12 p.m., Hanover Police officers on routine patrol located a 33-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant in the area of 10th Street and 14th Avenue.
When advised of the warrant, they say the man fled on foot, running through a commercial property and into a nearby residential neighbourhood.
Officers pursued the man, who jumped a fence and continued fleeing through backyards before eventually surrendering to police.
He was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer. Hanover officers say they also determined he was wanted by a neighbouring police jurisdiction. The male was held for bail hearing and later remanded into custody.
