The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation announced today that over half of the funding goal for the new hospital has been met.
The goal is $150,000,000 and $90,000,000 has been raised.
In a news release the Foundation acknowledged the generosity of donors, families, businesses, physicians, and community partners as being key to reaching the milestone.
The CGMH continues to work with the province in planning the new build at Poplar Sideroad and Raglan Street.
