Port Elgin Pumpkinfest is taking place this weekend.
Friday is the Pubkin Crawl which is a pub crawl that includes a shuttle between Port Elgin and Southampton’s downtowns.
Saturday and Sunday are the main days of the festival with a midway featuring rides and games, a classic car show, pumpkin and giant vegetable weigh offs, live music, vendors market, food trucks and family activities.
A big winner with the heaviest pumpkin will be declared.
Last year’s pumpkin winner was Terry Weber, witha 1,965 lb pumpkin.
