Eligible electors will be able to cast their ballot in one of two ways:
1) Vote anywhere by internet using a desktop computer, laptop computer, smartphone, mobile device, or tablet; or
2) In-person electronic voting at a designated voting location.

Voting Period
Voting will open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026 and will close at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026 (Election Day).
Voters in Springwater Township will elect a mayor, deputy mayor and one councillor in each of the township’s five wards in the October 26 municipal election.
Mayor
George Cabral is the current deputy mayor and a former Springwater councillor
Jennifer Coughlin is the incumbent mayor, having been elected in 2022.
Deputy Mayor
Liz Grummett is a longtime Springwater resident and former school board trustee.
Anita Moore is the incumbent Ward 4 councillor and a registered nurse.

John Spring is a longtime Elmvale-area farmer.
Ward 2
Danielle Alexander is the incumbent Ward 2 councillor.

Hale Mahon is a longtime Springwater resident and community volunteer who previously ran for Ward 3 in 2022.
Wanda Maw-Chapman is a former Ward 3 councillorand is seeking a return to council.

Alex Saldana is a Springwater resident and civil engineering technologist.
Christine Spellman has a background in banking and small-business ownership
Ward 5
Mike Campbell has lived in Springwater for 25 years
Phil Fisher is the incumbent Ward 5 councillor and is seeking re-election.
