Fall is officially underway, and weather officials say milder temperatures will persist.
The Weather Network is calling for above-seasonal temperatures through October and November, while September temperatures will remain closer to seasonal.
As for rain, less is expected.
The network’s forecast calls for below-normal precipitation, with fewer fall storms than previous years.
While conditions could suddenly cool, The Weather Network says it does not mean they will remain cool, something they call a “Fall fake-out.”
