South Simcoe Police interrupted a theft in progress and in so doing recovered over $165,000 worth of stolen property.
It happened Monday around 4:20am at an industrial area on Yonge Street in Innisfil.
As a result of the investigation, police recovered a 2016 Ford F-550, a 2012 Kubota wheel loader, and four large spools of aluminum conductor wire, each weighing approximately 2,500 pounds.
The suspects managed to flee the area, the investigation remains ongoing. Police will return the stolen goods to rightful owners.
