Saugeen First Nation held its Chief and council elections Friday.
Long-time councillor Sonya Roote is elected Chief.
Randall Kahgee is head councillor, and this term’s band councillors are previous Chief Conrad Ritchie, Lester Anoquot, Warren John, Leititia Thompson, Trudy Jacobs, Anthony Owl, Fay Roote, and Dwayne Nashkawa.
