A collision in the municipality of Bluewater has resulted in the death of a pedestrian and his dog.
Just after 9 p.m. Friday, Huron OPP responded to a crash on London Road in Bluewater.
Police say a pickup truck struck a 72-year-old Central Huron man and his dog. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and the dog was euthanized due to severe injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing.
