Southern Georgian Bay OPP are investigating an assault that happened in Midland.
At around 2:30 Friday morning, police were called to a disturbance on Hugel Avenue in Midland.
Officers found one person suffering from serious stab wounds.
That person was taken to local hospital, then later transported to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries.
Police are looking for a person of interest, who was last seen leaving the scene toward King Street.
He’s described as an Indigenous or Hispanic man, around 6’1″ (185cm), weighing around 240 lb (108kg), and wearing light-coloured clothing.
