The South Bruce OPP are helping out the United Way Bruce Grey’s Backpack Program.
The program raises funds and collects school supplies to help families with school aged children.
The South Bruce OPP with be accepting donations at both the Walkerton and the Kincardine detachments until August 28th.
Donations can be dropped off on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm.
The Backpack Program provides new backpacks filled with age-appropriate school supplies for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 at no cost to families.
The initiative helps ensure that students across Grey and Bruce are able to be prepared for the school year ahead.
