A Barrie woman is facing charges for repeatedly calling the Barrie Police Service.
The first call came in on Saturday around 3:40 p.m. officers responded to the woman’s initial call and advised her that the matter would be investigated.
But then…over a roughly six-hour period starting around 9:30 p.m., the accused called 911 and the non-emergency number a total of 31 times. And during these calls she was verbally abusive to Comms staff.
The 38 year old is charged with public mischief.
