One person’s trash is another’s treasure on Saturday in Owen Sound.
It is Goods Exchange Day in the city, when residents are invited to put unwanted, but usable items out curbside throughout the day for others to pick-up.
“If you are looking for something, tour the city and pick up items you can reuse,” a statement from city hall says. “Popular Goods Exchange Day items include sporting goods, furniture, small appliances, books, art, tools, toys, doors, sinks, windows, et al.”
The city reminds you that any items not picked up should be taken back from the curb by 6 p.m. Saturday.
