Construction has begun on the washrooms at the Shallow Lake Community Centre and Ball Diamond.
The Washroom Renovation Project will upgrade the design to improve accessibility, functionality and the overall experience for residents and visitors who use the facilities throughout the year.
During construction, access to the community centre’s main-floor washrooms will be limited. Guests are asked to use the washrooms located on the second floor.
The Shallow Lake ball diamond washrooms will also be closed during renovations. The township has provided portable toilets for the duration of the disruption. Efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience and maintain a safe environment for all community centre users.
Construction is set to wrap up by the end of this summer.
