The Peninsula Family Health Team says a new doctor is coming to Northern Bruce Peninsula this summer.
Dr. Shima Bagherzadeh will take over the patients from Dr. Elaine Blau who retired in March.
She’ll also be taking some patients from the Ontario Health Care Connect wait list.
Dr. Bagherzadeh’s practice will include primary care at the Peninsula Family Health Teams Tobermory clinic, work at the Brightshores Health System Lion’s Head hospital emergency department and also long-term care support at the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home.
She is due to begin working locally in August.
