
Bracebridge OPP have charged one man after a general patrol on Muskoka Road 118.
At around 5:45 on Friday evening, police were patrolling Muskoka Road 118 near Pine Glen Road, and noticed the concerning behaviour of one driver heading eastbound.
When an officer tried to get the vehicle to stop, the driver fled at high speed.
Police did not pursue the driver in the interest of public safety, but a short time later in Port Carling, the vehicle was pulled over.
The 19-year-old driver from Bracebridge was charged with dangerous operation, flight from a peace officer, stunt driving, and failure to display two plates.
The driver is expected in court on August 25th.
