"Eat Together" in 2026 will feature a car show, petting zoo, and food collection for local food banks (From: Zehrs Goderich)
A free lunch event in Goderich is expanding for its 2026 edition.
The Zehrs grocery store in Goderich will be hosting their annual “Eat Together” luncheon Saturday, June 20th.
The event has been running since 2018, and Zehrs Store Manager Jim Bissett says the free lunch is meant to bring the community together.
“We had a vision that we would invite the community out to all eat together… set your cell phones down and talk to your neighbour, talk to your friends,” Bissett says.
“We’ve just gotten bigger ever since.”
The 2026 edition of Eat Together will feature the Circle City Cruisers with a car show, a petting zoo, and the Salvation Army collecting donations for their Huron County food banks.
It runs at the Goderich Zehrs Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and all are invited.
