There will be a chance to have a peek at the Canadian Snowbirds over the skies of Owen Sound this week.
The iconic airplanes will be doing a fly-over the city Wednesday. It’s expected to happen at around 7 p.m.
The city says it could be affected by weather conditions and fuel requirements, so the flyby could be adjusted or cancelled at short notice.
The Snowbirds performed at the Barrie Airshow this past weekend, and are currently completing their final season before being grounded until new aircraft arrive in the 2030s.
“The Canadian Snowbirds are about to be mothballed for awhile, so this is going to be the last time for a lot of us to see them for a long time,” Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy says.
