Huronia West OPP is investigating reports of a suspicious person approaching a child on Brock Street in Stayner, and is looking to the public for help in identifying him.
Police say they received a report that on May 27th, between 3:30pm and 6pm, an unknown male approached a child in their yard and and invited the child to go with him to a park – the suspect also asked the child not to tell anyone about the invitation.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 40’s, he’s tall with dark hair and was wearing a ballcap and sunglasses.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dash cam footage is urged to call Huronia West OPP or Crimestoppers.
