The Owen Sound North Stars Legacy Ridge Golf Club Junior Elite Women’s League (JEWL) lacrosse team came up just short on Saturday, falling 13-12 to the Oakville Lady Hawks in the semifinal of the JEWL in-season tournament.
Bree Wilkins scored a hat trick and Ella Todd potted four goals.
The North Stars will face the Halton Hills Bulldogs on Sunday in the bronze medal game of the JEWL in-season tournament.
