Bruce County is getting ready for summer road construction.
The Transportation and Environmental Services team has already begun their work to improve roads, bridges, and other structures.
The work for the county’s 691 km of road and 148 bridges includes line painting, culvert replacement, and roadside mowing and clearing ditches.
In a news release, Warden Luke Charbonneau reminded everyone to be mindful of the road work being done by watching your speed and paying attention to signs on the county’s roads.
Summer construction and maintenance efforts are part of Bruce County’s commitment to public infrastructure, community well-being and safe travel across the region.
Information about the summer road work will be available through the county’s website.
