Two people from Meaford face drug trafficking charges after an OPP investigation.
Police say their investigation began back in March and focused on a residential unit on Highway 6 & 10 in the Municipality of Meaford.
Grey Bruce OPP say on May 29th at about 6 a.m., members of the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit, Grey Bruce OPP Detachment, and West Region OPP Canine Unit, executed search warrant at the residence.
Two people were located inside and arrested without incident.
OPP say they seized about $5,700 in suspected drugs and what they have describe as offence-related property valued at approximately $1,300.
Police say they seized fentanyl, meth, and codeine.
A 45 year old Meaford man and a 38 year old Meaford woman face charges related to drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon, or knowledge of possession of a weapon.
