
Law Enforcement Torch Run makes its way through Huron County June 3, 2026.
The Special Olympics Torch is, once again, making its way across Huron County.
OPP, Special Olympians, family, friends, and supporters will be carrying the Special Olympics torch through Ontario’s West Coast on Wednesday, to increase awareness and raise funds for Special Olympics.
The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics.
The Huron County Torch Run will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Maitland River Community Church located on Josephine Street in Wingham.
The run will head through Wingham ending at the south end of town.
Participants will then be transported to Blyth, Clinton, and Goderich.
After completing the final leg in Goderich participants and supporters will meet back at McGee Motors located on Suncoast Drive East in Goderich for a celebration BBQ.
