The cause is now known of a fire last night at a business complex on Hwy 11. Work being done at the plaza has been reported as the cause – there were no injuries, but damages are estimated at a million dollars.
Oro-Medonte Fire crews were aided by Severn and the city of Orillia, and they managed to keep most of the damage to the roof area.
The building houses several business including a furniture company.
