The City of Orillia is again inviting residents to submit snow plow names for the next winter season.
The popular community contest is returning following the City’s Public Works Fun Fest held last Saturday where residents helped paint the blade on the plow that is now in need of a clever, creative name.
Submissions are open until June 30, 2026 at 4 p.m., at orillia.ca/nametheplow.
The city’s winter control team will choose a top five after all the submissions have been considered – and then the public will vote for the winner in July.
