Barrie Police were called to the Burger King parking lot on Bayfield Street Sunday around 7:15am for a report that a car had been idling for over two hours.
Inside they found a 21 year old male passed out behind the wheel.
He was found to be two times over the legal limit and now faces two impaired driving charges, his licence is suspended and the car was towed to impound.
Barrie Police are reminding motorists that ‘sleeping it off’ behind the wheel of a parked or idling vehicle can still lead to impaired driving charges.
