You may hear some loud noises coming from the Army Training Centre in Meaford this weekend.
The Department of National Defence issued an advisory saying Soldiers from the 7th Toronto Regiment will be conducting live fire exercises at Army Training Centre, Central — formerly known as the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre — on Saturday and Sunday (May 23-24).
“Noise may be heard from weapons and large-calibre guns firing simultaneously,” the release from the Department of National Defence says. “This exercise is purely for training purposes and at no time will safety or security of the public be in jeopardy.”
You can expect to hear noise coming from the ranges at the Meaford base between 8 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.
