The Municipality of Kincardine is ready to celebrate the 21st anniversary of its Multicultural Celebration.
The event will take place on Tuesday, May 12 at the Davidson Centre from 5:30 – 8 pm.
The evening will feature music, art, food, and cultural displays, offering attendees a chance to experience traditions from around the world while connecting with neighbours.
Since the event was founded by Dr. Chandra Tripathi, the Multicultural Celebration has grown form a small gathering at Huron Heights Public School to a community event.
Over its 21 years, the celebration has also grown with the community itself, sharing a commitments to respect, belonging, and diversity.
The event is organized by the Kincardine Multicultural Celebration Committee (KMCC), and is supported by Bruce Power, Swajan Samanvay Santan Centre, the Municipality of Kincardine, and Kincardine District Senior School.
